It's okay to be bored
Try to be mindful of how many times you grab for your mobile phone, or turn on your tv. I personally have noticed the constant reach for the phone to check my instagram. This mindless scrolling through stories and posts and hashtags... before I knew it hours had gone by and I felt numb. So a few weeks ago I made a test... what if I didn't grab my phone while waiting for the doctor or in the line for food. What if I allowed myself to be bored? So I was bored... really bored at times. However a few days in I started people watching, reading my book, and with time I felt more relaxed.
